DVDR Skipping to end credits (SONY DVP 536)

I think this issue is exclusive to cetain early Sony dvd players,

it doesnt happen on the pc or pioneer 656 dvd player,
basically when i skip or play a chapter (animatrix in this case) the track skips to the end credits, is their a way to make it "compatible" with the Sony 536 dvd player at all so this effect doesnt occur?

I think its ifo releated but not sure as it wasn't my encode

have you checked the sony dvd player in the dvd player compatibility section of this website?

there are other user comments about it. maybe others have the same problem and have mentioned a fix. maybe, your sony isn't really compatible with DVD-Rs, etc...
