Did you burn the bin to check if it was complete. and then use the mpg of the cd.
-
ya i checked the bin and it is complete but it still cuts off like 5 miins at the end... should i extract the mpg and they that or will it be just the same?
-
Your watching the movie on your DVD player & it stops 5 mins b4 the end?
Yet it doesn't do this when you view the (s)vcd?
Did you author with SVCD2DVDMPG+ or antother application?
CBSVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

yes the svcds are fine but after i use svcd2dvd it cuts off a little at the end of each file (.bin files) i use meastro to author the dvds
any thing could help -
Although I also use Maestro, have you tried letting SVCD2DVDMPG+ do the authoring to see if some is still missing?

ok i just checked out the orginal bin and it is 47mins long and the mpv file that svcd2dvd made is only 45 mins so it cut off 2 mins at the end of each file.. please help
-
the cue files you need to burn the ep on a cd so you can play it on your dvd-player as svcd.
But if you don't know where the cue's are for how do you know the source isn't missing 5 minutes? -
becouse i just watched the bin of it and it is 2 or 3 mins longer then the mpv that svcd2dvd made
-
try to watch the m2v and see if it is shorter or the same length. if it is shorter svcd2dvdmpg looses some info if not then the dvd author program you use looses some minutes
-
wtf what did i just say? i WATCHED THE MPV FILE AND IT IS SHORTER THEN THE ORGINAL BIN FILE!!!!! WHERE IS AN M2V file?
-
ok i hear you, you don't have to shout. You're the one with the problem i'm only trying to help.
What you could do it burn the bin/cue rip of the mpeg, check the mpeg with virtualdub-MPEG to see if it got no errors. which could give problems. if not try to run the mpeg through svcd2dvdmpg again.
I never had a problem with mpeg-1 or mpeg-2 files with svcd2dvdmpeg other then having out of sync audio.. -
you could at a additional part to the first mpeg. make a new mpeg of the origional one with the same size as the part that is cut off. append it to the origional mpeg and run it again..
This isn't a fix but maybe it works..
