I got some old used portable Philips player. It supports VCD 2.0 in both PAL or NTSC, that's all I can tell. I can't find any info on this player anywhere on the net, it's like it doesn't exist. Well anyway, I was wondering if it maybe could play movies with a slightly higher resolution or bitrate (called xvcd's right?) or are these portable players only fixed to VCD specs?
Also it won't read CDRW's and it would take a lot of CDR's to test it, can I make whole bunch of video tracks on it? Each track's video would have a different bitrate and resolution for me to test so that way I would know what works and what doesn't? Thanks for the help.
