I was reading this article this morning and was wondering if anyone understood what they are doing to these CD's to make them copyprotected. I had not heard about this until today, but Macrovision is doing copy protection for CDs to stop people from copying them.
I just thought I would ask and see if anyone else had heard anymore about this technology.

I don't know what technical magic is done to the copy protected audio CDs. I would to like to know too. I know that not only the Macrovision company is doing it but also many other companies around the world, especially for the world commerce market outside the USA, and each company uses a different scrambling method on their CDs. The CDs are 100 percent proof. There is always a way to crack or manipulate this "copy protection" stuff.
