I have a downloaded MPEG2 with really lousy audio. It has that "metallic" muffled sound that is characteristic of doing frequency conversion in an old version of TMPGEnc.
Is there any kind of filtering in GoldWave, or a comparable program, that can fix this kind of audio? I know it can't be made perfect, but surely there are some things that can be done to make it sound better and more natural.
