I want to convert my Avi(DivX) files and big mpeg files to fit onto CD-Rs.
I want a program that does it for me and is free.
I dont have money to buy a DVD burner right now.

Hey,
Try to use TMPGenc (located in the tools section in the left side bar) and choose settings accordingly.
It will tell you how big the file will be before it encodes. -
I got both those programs.
They take too long.
I need a easier program. This is a block of text that can be added to posts you make. There is a 255 character limit -
try nero. it's not free, but it is easy. You can't have everything. If you want a program to do everything for you it probably isn't going to be free because it is harder or more time consuming to program, and if you want a program that is free your going to have to learn something about how to use it. This site was created to help you learn more about vcds, svcds, and dvds and their creation, not to just give you a program to press a button and make one. People here will help you, but you have to be willing to learn.

DVDx will convert mpeg2 files and split them into multiple cds at the same time. It's freeware.
