Please Help Me

I have a NEC_ 1100A and I have been using Verbatim DVD+R, and Fujifilm DVD+R with it and everything works perfect. Until today I bought some Sony DVD+R DPR47 at Walmart and made a movie the same way I have been but when I put the disk in my standalone DVD player the screen is black and white and keeps jumping like it needs tracking. I tried it in my computer and it worked perfect. What am I doing wrong or is it the Sony DVD itself?
