  1. Ok I finally purchased the Sony DRU-510A and after 3 attempts at making a successful DVD without any luck I'm coming to the forum experts. Here is where I am at so far:

    1. Extracted ES Video & Audio with TMPGEnc which apparently worked fine after many hours, so I ended up with a .m2v video file and a .mp2 audio file.

    2. First attempt to author with Ulead DVD Movie Factory 2 I noticed the program would not accept .mp2 files as an audio source.

    3. Transcoded .mp2 audio file to a .mp3 file with BeSweet

    4. Went back to DVDMF2 and loaded .m2v video file and .mp3 audio file, the program then multiplexed the video and audio together. Burn was successful and it does play but unfortunately with no sound whatsoever.

I realize that this is probably something very simple but I'm lost evidently. Help!!

Could simply be the software you are burning with.

with TMPGenc, instead of demuxing the audio to .mp2

well phooey!! pic did not work..

Instead of demuxing to .mp2, change the extension in TMPGenc to .mpa before saving. This is an acceptable format for MF2 and I've never had any problems with it

Can I ask a simple question. What is it you are trying to do? Back-up a DVD you own. Produce a DVD from some MPEG-2s or from AVI files from a digital camcorder. I noticed everyone started to give you a solution before realizing you never stated your problem.
