Do a search in any half-decent search engine, and look for FileMerger (http://fysx.acwu.com)

It will merge any file you give it, regardless how many parts, totally regardless what format it is in, its not fussy at all

I think it does no format checking in any way, this way its down to you to make sure that the file formats are correct, but it means it can join any known file that exists

I used it to join The Matrix - Reloaded that was an AVI file in two parts, simple, took less than 2-3 minutes to complete the merge

Give it a list of files to join/merge, tell it the output filename and destination, then just click 'merge' and moments later you have one large file of whatever you give it

I also use it to join multiple MP3's into one big MP3 for streaming, which it handles with ease
