I have a mgp file that want to determine the properties because is not like a normal mpg file, the video is 25 min and the file size is only around 60 mb is seem to be compressed. I have other 25 min. video mpg the file size is 200mb. I try to used mpeg properties and it said it not a mpg format. Anyone know how i can determine what format it the file. (the extension is mpg)

try avicodec in the tools section, handles just about everything.
