Nothing spectacular hardware-wise, but a little toy like this surely has it's uses. Portable, easy to conceal or hide in a safe, and space saving. But how much? I bet it's got a higher cost just because it's small. I once looked for a small system to travel with, but opted for a laptop instead and forget the video capture card (for now). The laptop was only a few hundred more.

the price is about 350 € (same as $)

i've been reading the manual , (free download)
and there are a few options and this is a little sad, but the price is still OK!
the update is your choice then ...

    these are in options:

    Optical Drive
    Tv-out
    Optional MS8606 (watching tv)???
Tv-Tuner card is incl in the Mega 651 (and it's optional ????)
    SECOND HDD/Card Reader/Fdd

It's a beautyfull Handy Case, but you need to buy a lot more to use all of it !
I wanted to have this 4 using it on our new sauna & relax center, to connect 5.1 speakers and let it play all day while it shows slides/pictures of the things we do ... a home theater dvd system can't do this separetly!
    but...
before i buy this i'll check everthing double !!!

They are very mysterious about what's in it and what's optional !

  4. Where's the DVD-ROM?
    Isn't a P4 overkill?

I have a "bookcase" PC for a DivX player. Don't use it much, but it serves as a great video game emulation machine. No need to pull out systems anymore and re-wire games systems, just load the NES or whatever and play away. It costs $500 and have DVD-ROM, P3 Intel, 128 RAm, works great.

i really didn't know this exists, many tnx for the replies !
I live in Belgium and they really do not known this all,
they only sell boring cases and stuff everybody have, cause they are afraid customers don't buy this stuff, ofcourse they don't buy it if you don't sell it !
I know this could be junk but what i show here was a little hope ...
maybe there are people who knows better things in the world to buy !
I see it on the links here...
I wanted to buy a system just like a stereo when the comp is not power on
and i like the display like MSI do now, but is it -somewhere in the world- a possebility to buy some stuff separatly (sorry 4 my english) ...?

    Many tnx !

btw i'll check now the links deeper...

The mini-ITX stuff has a lot of promise. I own one of the M-9000 boards, and it really works well. People are just starting to work on them, and there might be some good products that evolve from them.
