  1. Ok, so I downloaded this movie, and its in the bin, cue, svcd format. so I use iso buster to bust the MPEG-2 out of there. I use MPEG-2 virtualdub to convert it to a 2100 kbps (I'd shrink it later) divx 5.0.2 movie with 44100Hz cyberlink MPEG 1 layer 3 128 bit sound. I have no problems on the first half, but on the second half it says something about "audio out of sync" and lists all these places where the audio is out of sync. I thought nothing of it, and I tried to convert it anyway... nothing happened... so I figured, why not try loading the video again and giving it another shot? so I did and it worked fine, plays fine in windows media player and all those, but who wants two video's? I want it to be 1! so I try to merge them in Vdub, but it won't let me change the audio bitrate, it only lets me do direct stream copy! it says "the requested audio compression is not compatible with the input format. check that the sampling rate and channel count of the input match those of the requested format." err... so I just merged them with direct stream copy, and I go to watch the video. its all fine until we get to the point where I merged the two! all of a sudden the audio is a 1.5 seconds ahead of the video! how can this be?!?! so I was wondering, is there anyway to sync half of a video without messing up the other half? or can you give me any other solutions? thanks for your help.
