I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
I have a VIDEO_TS folder that I'm trying to turn into DivX. I throw it into ffmpegX, set up everything right, make sure the audio detects the right track and everything. I tell it to encode, terminal does it's thing, and after a few hours, I have my nifty wee .avi
So I try and run it on Quicktime, but no sound. Run it through both DivX validator and DivX Doctor II. Validator doesn't even do anything. Doesn't add it to the batch, doesn't crash, nothing. DD2 does it's thing happily, but still no sound. So I run it through DivX tool, which says there's no encoded .mp3 audio.
What did I do wrong? I checked the original VIDEO_TS for sound, and VLC runs it with sound, but when I play it in ffmpegX it doesn't.
I used DVD Backup to make the VIDEO_TS folder as Osex always crashes with me.
Any suggestions?
Much obliged

No it doesn't. But when I click the check audio button, it says "[open] audio stream: 0 audio format: Icpm (stereo) language: unknown aid: 160"
So that means there's an audio track there, right?
And when I try to encode it, terminal tells me "MPEG: No audio stream found -> no sound."
What am I doing wrong?
