I did what I thought was a successful burn onto CDs of a couple AVI files using DVD2SVCD and TMPG. I then burned the CD using Nero. When I play back the CDs in either of two DVD players capable of reading the CD, both the audio and video are faster than normal speed (the voices sound like chipmunks).
When first reading the AVI file, DVD2SVCD indicates that "the original video framerate of 14.985 is not supported. The framerate will be adjusted."
Seeing that, I made no other changes, ran DVD2SVCD and the burn appeared successful, but obviously was not.
Any suggestions

yea -- well 14fps is NOT supported and it increased it to 24 and added pulldown
its going to play fast ..
you have to change the frame rate by adding extra frames with AE, vegas or something along those lines .. -
make new project the frame rate you want and resolution you want (use 29.97 as frame rate if interlaced source or 24p film/pulldown if progressive)
add your file , set supersampling to 2 or 3 or more , good quality setting for rendering is perfect if you are not changing the size, if you change the resolution set it to BEST ..
render
