  6. On the other hand these sound like the Aterra (Princo 1X too) white on top slim jewel case I use for hand outs where I don't care if they live forever.... They burn fine and play fine for me (Sony 500A) and the white top makes labeling them with my Sharpie easy as pie. Play in two models of Apex and a Sony 5 disk player.

When I use them I just start Nero, set it to shut off when done, turn off the monitor and go to bed. They, so far, knock wood, have never given me problems.

However I do use Verbatim 2.4X and now 4X that they are the same price $2.00 per for anything important (archival)

    Cheers

  7. Yes the top is white and the lettering is navy-blue...Starmedia is an outline font, also in navy-blue....near the hole is stamped "MADE IN TAIWAN"...

Can I ask what the problem is with Princo ?

Is it Princos in general or just a certain batch or model ?

    TIA

  8. See on the right side where it says DVD Media? Click that, then you are going to see the list of media. You see that little upside down triangle next to the COMMENTS column, click that. Now its arranged by most comments. Read the ones that have PRINCO media code.

  9. Just burned one Starmedia in my Pioneer A05 at 1x and it burnt perfectly...I filled the DVD-R to about 95% capacity. There are 5 episodes of the old cult classic "Outer Limits" b&w from the 1960's. I've watched the first two episodes and they played flawlessly...will be watching more episodes later this week (tonight I'm watching game 7 of Stanley Cup finals)...
