  1. Damn Damn Damn!

Been burning for a while. Out of 50 Beall disks I usually get about 5-15 write errors because of dirty disk (why I dont know they are straight of the spindle, I think that is just a generic error). Well I got a new spindle today 1st burn went good. Second errored out with dirty disk error. I was using firwear 1.0d. I decided to go with 2.0f firmwear and see if my luck changed. 2 bad writes in a row. DAMN

Any ideas on what is going on?
Anyone know where to get the 1.0f firmwear.

dvd decryptor --> infoedit --> Recordnow

  2. Hmmm, this probably doesn't help, but I use the same disks with my Sony (firmware version f) and have never had a problem (only 100 disks or so, though).

It sounds like you already *have* the upgrade but are then asking for it. However, here's the link: http://sony.storagesupport.com/freeupgrade/

  3. I have had about 5-6 write (sense) errors with the disks out of a pack of 50. Look at the bottom of the disk, does the outer edge seem to be all scratched up? I believe that this caused my write errors...I may have gotten a bad batch. However, I do have to say this about these disks...If they actually finish writing then they are sweet...no skips or anything...
