it allows me to make mpeg and change the bit rate (i change mine to 1300 per sec)
is there anyway i can estimate how many mb my output file will be ??

  2. MPEG file size is the result of bitrate and runtime. Birate is kilobits per sec. Runtime is in secs. Multiple the two and there you go. To make life easier try using one of the bitrate calculators (look to the left under tools, the VCDHelp.com java calculator is the best IMHO).

Remember that ONLY bitrate and resolution matter. Resolution, size of your source file, etc. has no affect of the size of your encoded MPEG.
