I used DVDxCopy to copy a DVD and it played back fine in my standard DVD
player. I then used DVDshrink to extract and shrink a different DVD to my
HD. Used Nero5.5.10.28 to burn the files back to DVD (Chose option 'DVD
Video Files').
The DVD created by Nero plays in my PC DVDR player, but not in my standard
DVD player. Nero must have written the disk in a format that is not
supported by by DVD player.
What program or format should I use to reburn the extracted files, so I can
view the disk on my standard DVD player?
TIA

Try DVD-ROM (UDF). Bet it'll work then. UDF 1.02 seems to be compatible with more players -- or is it the other way 'round?
