  1. Hey what's up need some big help here, my problem is with avi_io no matter what type of compression, frame size and frame rate. I always run out of I/O BUFFERS. Here are the specs on my system.

    P4 1.8
    MSI 845G MOTHERBOARD
    1GIG RAM/266
2 HARD DRIVES 7200 MAXTOR, ON THE PRIMARY CHANNEL
2 CDROMS ON THE SECONDARY CHANNEL
MSI NVIDIA MX440 64MB VIDEO CARD
    CREATIVE AUDIGY SOUND CARD
WINTV GO MODEL 700 TV CARD
    WINDOWS XP

I ALWAYS USE THE LATEST DRIVERS FOR EVERYTHING.

  6. Even though your PC specs are more powerful than my own, I do all the same suggest that you disable both overlay & preview modes. Always found that was always the culprit. Fortunately my TV/VCR is close enough to view when/what I'm capturing.
