Anyone have any experience with USDM brand DVD-R?

    http://www.cdrom2go.com/optical_media/usdmcdr.htm

They are advertised at $0.79 each for quantity of 100.

May I point out that this site has banner adds that sell DVD-R for 69 cents in bulk. 1x, but it's time versus money.

Those are of the Accu/DupEZ varity. Media ID LD01.

The other more expensive USDM (M40047) media is Ritek GO3.

The USDM 4x is Ritek G04.

    All Acme Media is Princo.

Those ads are no longer the current price. There is also ads of DVD Pro for $.58, when the current lowest price is $.74.

  9. Well I finally broke down and bought some of these USDM 1x DVD-R Discs from cdrom2go.com and they seem to work just fine in my Sony DRU510A burner. They also play in my Playstation 2 and my Sony set top DVD player as well as my DVD-Rom drive. The only problem is they take a while to burn. 1x is as fast as they go but for 0.79 cents per disk I'm not complaining.

  10. Well I spoke to soon. The USDM disks are garbage. I can't get them to burn right anymore. The first batch was Ok but now every DVD I backup starts to skip toward the end of the movie. It's pretty annoying. Buyer Beware.
