DVD Shrink 2.3 and layer change issue

I have looked a few posts at Doom about DVD Shrink 2.3 and layer change issues.

Made a few back-ups with DVD shrink without issue. Am I just lucky, or is there really an issue that I don't understand. (Or seen for that matter.)

Hello JNT.

DVD Shrink, in its present incarnation v2.3, does not remove the layer break.
Dr.Shrink (as I call him) is obviously aware of it, and might make the neccessary changes in a future version.

Some users have indeed experienced problems due to the layer-break not being removed.
When the layer-change is being reach, some players look for the 2nd layer, and not finding it just stop (or freeze, or something, lol).

So are you lucky? Well, I'd say you're not part of the unlucky ones.

Thanks, that's just the answer I wanted.

I just i'll IFOedit to strip/fix main move only and DVD Shrink it if its over DVD-R.
