I generaly use Nero to burn my files, I've got several mpeg files theat I want to burn, they're only short clips, but I want them to play one after the other, can I do this with nero if so how and if not what is the best programme to do it? Thanks in advance for your help.

Nero can't author mpegs to standard DVD-Videos(only Nerovision can). If you want a pretty simple dvd authoring tool try tmpgenc dvd author, it just to add all mpgs and it will by default make all files play after each other. Check my guide

If you want create more advanced dvds try DVD-lab.
