  2. Sometimes with trial versions of some software, they are very limited. They try to encourage to purchase the full version. I had problems with dvd2one's trial version, they only allowed 10minutes of encoding(I think thats what dvd2one does) this is to show you that the software does work.
When I purchased the full version I was allowed to encode a whole dvd without any problems. I don't know if this helps you or not. I don't use
clonedvd. Trial versions are very limited

    Clone DVD is freeware from
    http://www.clonead.co.uk/
    its a RIPPING SOFTWARE only
    no authoring or burning..

It is the only RIPPER to run as an immensely unpopular
    WINDOWS .NET appliction
that is you need to have an appliction called WINDOWS .NET on top of the OS to run the newest ripper the've developed.
They do have a stand-alone version also.
BOTH WORK TO REMOVE CSS, macrovision and REGION ENCODING

BUT CLONE doesn't run under MILENNIUM or 98 : BEWARE!

DVD SHRINK is the only freeware that does it all (cept burning)
The only RIPPER-"DVD 9 to 5" convertor in ONE!
    Don't expect the other RIPPERS's
eg SMARTRIPPER. DVD DECRYPTER and CLONE to add a 9to5 feature..Won'T HAPPEN..
This is why we find all these sucky interfaces that sorta link tre ripper to another program:
    some are better than others:
    DVD X COPY
    DVD SQUEEZE
    etc.,..
