  1. Hi, when I rip 8 Mile with DVD Decryptor, then compress with dvd2one and burn with nero, the menus are all messed up.. the menu items aren't physically on the pages (although the backgrounds are) and some of the overlays are missing. I can play the video fine, but I cant really navigate the extras/scenes with the buggered menus

    Any help?

How many times did you try the whole process? I would do it all over again. And if that doesn't work try dvdshrink (freeware) or some other full dvd-9 to dvd-5 program.

  3. I've tried it with several DVD-R's and 2 versions of dvd2one

I just tried dvdshrink on it and it couldn't make a file small enough for the dvd, even on the highest compression

I know my original ripped files are OK cos I can play them in power DVD

  6. I did 8 mile with shrink. I don't remember the exact compression setting but I would not have gone past 4. When using shrink did you cut off begininng, credits, and extra audios?

  8. OK, i've tried InstantCopy and DVD95copy.. InstantCopy wouldn't write the DVD (crashed with some silly error) and DVD95 produced files that nero didn't like (said the VOB's didn't correspond to the .IFO files).. I burnt it anyway and still got the same problems, the menus are all blank
