  1. I just pruchased a package of 5 Pine DVD-Rs at FutureShop (Canadian Best Buy) for $18.95 Canadian ($13.00 USA)...any opinions on Pine DVD-Rs ?

They are non-branded and appear to have no protective coating...just a shiny silver surface...

Run one of the utilities on them and find the media code, that will tell us more then anything else.

They appear to be Maxell disk, should be ok, give them a good test that goes over 4.1 gb and find out.
