    tmpgenc does it very nicely with the right codecs installed and the environmental settings changed a little. what kind of problems are you having?

    i agree with honorarybrutha. tmpgenc is great. if you are impatient (like most newbies seem to be), then cce is a good alternative.

  3. see my post in avi4cc change wont work! esentially you can run this through DVD2SVCD version 1 build 1 and it copes with xvid no probs.

    If you then want a vcd 2 header for mpeg 1 if this doesn't do it you can run it thro VCDEasy which will do the job for you
