What is the best method in doing this. I have made a couple of attempts unsucessfully of course, I generally end up with just the picture and no sound. However when played seperately the two files both have sound, Its only when I join them together in Tmpgenc I end up with no sound, anybody any ideas please.

Is there any reason you are trying to join them. Joining mpeg2 files is notoriously problematic. Why not just author your dvd keeping the 2 files seperate.

This might help
Hi...did you get it sorted??2 movies on 1 disc with menus??...basically it involves using Dvd Decrypter to rip the main movie files only...then use Dvd20ne to rip "movie only" and change output size to 2100mb..pick audio "6 channel"...no subs(optional) angle 1...then rip....Same goes for your 2nd movie...Now you should have two movies with VIDEO_TS folders totalling approx 4.2 GB together...Open up TMPGEnc DVD Author program...choose "source setup"...click on "settings" for your first track/movie name...then "add DVD video"..locate your first movies VIDEO_TS folder ..the program will read it into the menu...do the same for the second track/movie.."add DVD video" etc.etc....now you can edit your menus...just play around with the software..then output it to dvd folder first..dont choose to burn to disc yet...once outputted you will have a new VIDEO_TS folder with the two films now combined...open it up with e.g.POWERDVD...
