Does anyone know if this card is good for capturing? I capture DVD quality video with my Radeon 8500, but the ATI card is causing problems with my A7V8X mobo so I have to go with Nvidia

I'd suggest you stay away from Nvidia's 5xxx line. Every site that has reviewed them says its crap. Are you sure that its not something else causing issues?
-
I would agree. Nvidia has already relesed the FX5900 to replace the FX5800. What specifically is causeing a conflict with your MOBO?
-
Specifically I can't run DVD WS and the MMC at the same time. Well I should say that I can't run DVD WS if the MMC installed, it doesn’t seem to matter what version of MMC I use. If it is installed DVD WS crashes, no matter what. Also a few people on this forum informed me that my MOBO was not running its best because of the ATI card.
So the new Geforce FX cards are shit hu?
That sucks.
What do you guys suggest I do? I can't stand having to uninstall the MMC everytime I need to use DVD WS. -
XanaXManX,
just ditch your DVD WS
you have a good capture card, find a better software.
If you really want to change the card, stay away from combo cards:
just buy a good vodeo and good capture card.
