  1. Does TMPGEnc support AVI files? Because I tried to open an AVI file( to convert it to MPEG2 for DVD) and it says, "can not open, or unsupported".
    If anyone knows what the problem is please help, Thanks

  2. Sounds like you don't have the correct codec. Go to the tools section on the left side of this page and download either GSpot or AVICodec and see which codec(s) you need. Then you should be able to open the AVI file in TMPGE.

  4. also in the enviroment setting change direct show to priority 2, and decompress the avi aswell
