  1. Ive d/loaded some videos, and the picture nor the sound is there. When I try to load it into TMPEG it only shows that there is video. Do I need a codec of some kind?

    the sound format maybe ac3 install an ac3 filter and make sure your divx/xvid codecs are up to date ...you can find ac3 filter in tools sections

    if it is ac3 then you will need to extract the audio from the avi with vdub
    there are plenty of guides on how to do this in the guides sctions

    if you need more help try to be a little more detailed with the problem

    Get Gspot from the Tools section and test your file. It will tell you the required codecs.
