Not sure why I thought of this but does anyone know what VHS stands for - I'd like to know before it gets consigned to history.![]()

Ah the internet thingy - thats the one that when I entered VHS got about 3000 sites trying to sell me tapes & players!

You should be more specific - I searched for VHS 'glossary' - Most of them tell you what it 'is' - but a few tell you what it 'stands for'
