Since these are twice the price of a regular TDK DVD-R and thus around four-five times the price of a generic, anyone ever purchase one or use one?

Maybe for the wedding videos (assuming the marriage lasts more than national average) or family films???

I bought a 10pk from Rima.com for $42 for my home videos. I figure it is worth the extra money to know these disks will be around for a while!
I have not burned any yet, but will soon. I'm itching to get out the steel wool and see if I can scratch one, but at $4.20 each....not on purpose!!!
Here are some pics of the Armor Plate DVD-R disks.

And TDK Armor Plate vs. Ritek G03. Notice the TDK's bottom surface is lighter than the Ritek.
