  2. My experience suggests the "Ice" discs come from different suppliers every now and again - I think for now they're from Princo but you might like to check. Some people don't like them, but IMO their CD-R media is extremely compatible (the only brand that always works in my picky Sony DVD Player) and I wish I had bought more of their DVD-RW when SVP were carrying them.

I have been using a quantity of Nanya's for what must be around 4 months or so and never had a dud. It's probably too soon to tell if they will suffer any degredation over time and I do tend to look after my discs, but they seem very reliable across platforms. I don't use the same recorder as you (I have a Pioneer A04). The Ritek G03's work well for me too - now I can't get e-Proformance any more, these discs are my weapons of choice for budget discs. The surface of the Nanya's seem quite resilient and hefty which is probably a good thing although I don't know anyone using official firmware who can get these to burn at 2x. I don't care about that, but if you're a speed freak who sits in front of the monitor counting the seconds, this might be an issue for you.

Does anyone here want to comment on the green Bulkpaq ? I had a very bad experience with the purple ones, and quite frankly I've been scared to commit any cash to that brand since.
