I recently switched back to my Pioneer A04 from my Sony DRU500. Now, RecordNow MAX does not see the Pioneer drive. It has my DVD-ROM listed twice as 2 diff drive letters! I tried installing the latest engine updates to no avail. Nero, DVDDecrypter, Windows, everything else sees the Pioneer properly. I tried flashing the firmware, still nothing. I thought that maybe RecordNow was just confused with the name, but if I eject the tray, it ejects that of my DVD-ROM. I even tried wiping out my system and reinstalling from scratch, because I had some other wierdness going on, and still nothing. Any ideas?

Bump.
Is there anyone that does use RecordNow with the A04 without any problem? -
OK, I found my problem!
I have an nForce2-based system, and I had installed the nVidia SW IDE drivers. In device manager I changed the IDE driver from the nVidia-supplied one to the standard dual channel PCI IDE controller, rebooted, made sure that DMA was enabled for all devices (which it was). Started RecordNow MAX, and Presto! there it was.
