  1. I want your precious help!!! I'm trying to put some VHS tapes of NBA Basketball on cd (divx). well, my only problem is that when i capture the scene became a little bit slowly than in the vhs tape (sometimes, when the camera is going from one court to another, seams like stop just a litte bit (1/100 sec, but my eyes can notice that !!). I have only one hard drive (seagate barracuda iv, 60gb, 7200rpm, ata 100) and my graphic card is geforce4 440mx 64mb agp. Perhaps the problem is in the disk drive or the card, or perhaps for fast scenes the capture from tapes to digital can't do better ? What do you think ? Thanks Pedro

What is your framerate, framesize (resolution), divx compression settings and audio settings etc...

    What kind of cpu?

    Capture card?
There's not much to do but then I can't do much anyway.

  3. P4 2,4ghz, capture card Pinnacle DC10plus (that's on my profile).

Well, the frame rate is 25fps and i tried some capture resolutions: 384x288 ; 720x568, 384x576. Then with VirtualDub, i resize it to 384x288 (in case of capturing with others resolutions), and i compress it with Divx 5.0.3 (Original 1pass, 2000 or 3000 kbps or so- it depends, i want to put a basketball game in 2 cd's-, audio compression mpeg3 layer 96khz).
Let me tell one more thing: i tried to do a dvd compatible file (mpeg2 compliant 720x568) directly from STUDIO8. The file is ok but that problem continuous.
    Thanks
    Pedro
