    hi i just want to know if ther is a HUGE or big difference in quality betwen xvcd and svcd?

    The higher screen size your TV have, the more difference you notice.
    VCD is O.K. for 14 and 21'' TVs. Beyond this, you need more!

  4. XVCD is non-standard VCD. It can have really crappy quality to really good quality depending on what you do. There is no standard.

    As such, you can't really compare it to SVCD.
