  1. Hi

I have been asked to ask a question on here by a workmate

    he has one of these

    http://www.pioneer-eur.com/eur/product_detail.jsp?product_id=8632&taxonomy_id=62-125

what he would like to know is this, if you copy from a dvd to the hdd, can you then copy back to a dvd.

He has a couple of kids and would like to make backups of some of his favourite dvds as they have wrecked a few already including a couple of his pink floyd dvd, which he was not very happy about lol.

I know there are some hacks and stuff on here, does he need one of those?

I told him to get a dvd writer, but he doesn't even have a computer, hence, why he has got me finding out for him.....

    thanks

ps please try and keep instruction on how to do so simple he is not very tech minded

Your friend can copy non copy-protected DVDs to the HDD, then to a DVD-R(W). It won't allow him to copy copy-protected DVDs, to do that he needs a computer, software, and a DVD burner. The topics on the left of the screen cover this subject in great detail. Good Luck!
