Yes they are good discs and reliable. I've burned about 20 of them so far with my Sony DRU-500A and RecordNow... No playback problems so far.

I just got done reading the reviews for these at newegg. Sounds kind of cheap media.

Not at all. This is one of my choice discs, never a single frisbie. Very reliable, burned 100's of them just fine.
On every other media post, you praise Apple and Pioneer and all of a sudden "Optodisk" is "one" of your choice disks. I know the regz around here know you are dripping diarrhea from your ears. I just hope the "majority" of the newbies don't buy into your total bullshit. Every other post is you challenging some poster on a product. It really has gotten out of hand because people can't read a single post without you spewing absolute and total crap which is completely FALSE.
Then you have the audacity with your 2nd grade spelling to actually say that you don't work for this place and that place, like people really give the sweat off their nutz where you work. You really gotta be kiddin', because you can't really be that pathetic.
I guess it's your psychological way of making yourself feel important so I think we should all start a post trying to guess where Jr. Matlock works. It's obviously also your psychological way of making yourself feel good about spending $5-$6 on Pioneer and Apple, because you want to convince yourself the money is purchasing a disk far superior to that of an inexpensive disk. I got news for you McFly, your wrong again!
My .84 cent SONY branded ACCU's can't be touched by Pioneer or Apple and at the VERY BEST, the only thing those other disks can do is play FLAWLESSLY from start to finish. They damn sure can't play ANY better then the ACCU's because there are ZERO issues as it is. Yea, i'm sure I'll have them lose data in 100 years...lmao...sure I will. Just because your nutty azz lost some crap CDR's you spew opinions as facts.
I happen to have some of those same CDR's for OVER 5 years and with ZERO problems. Only 3 cdr's out of the countless I have had any issues because the burn/write side was peeling. They were ALL Fuji, interestingly enough.
The fact is that NOONE knows how long ANY of these disks...coated, uncoated, or otherwise will last. But my bad azz Accu's play so smooth, even David Copperfield couldn't erase em'!
Funny though McFly....you post your signature on many posts which say that you get what you pay for in the media world...blah..blah..stop buying junk..blah..blah.....and now you say "OPTODISK" which are being sold at a buck a piece are just another one of your "choice" disks...LMAO....even WITHOUT this newegg sale, they are dirt cheap disks. So which one is it MCFLY.....CHEAP OR NOT CHEAP...i'm sure i've just confused you again.....stop the BULLSHIT JABBA!
