Hi. I have a Pinnacle DC10+ and Studio8, running on Windows XP Home. Works great with an RCA cable from my Sony Hi-8 camcorder, but I plugged an S-video cable in, and got no video. I had this running for a brief time under Win98, and there was a little controller app in the SysTray that allowed me to select composite or S-Video. That app doesn't show in my SysTray under XP. I found that app under Start/Programs, but it doesn't have the input select option.
I didn't specifically load any sort of XP driver for the DC10 (where would I get such a thing?), but Studio 8 seems to include that. I upgraded Studio to 8.5, so it's at the latest level, but I don't know how to find out if I have the latest driver for the DC10.
Other than this, it seems to work great - good looking captures with no dropped frames. Haven't done a big project yet though...
Thanks for your time.

Never mind - I'm a bonehead. I "re-discovered" the little video control panel that pulls out from the left, and right there is the selection for S-video.
Well, maybe this will help someone else in the future.
