    : I'm trying to capture a three hour satellite tv event and then burn it to dvd with menus and chapters pionts.I tried several programs like sonic mydvd and pinnicle studio 8 and also windows movie maker now I'm lost with all these different formats I'm looking for a good program to do these task can someone help?

    Read the VHS->DVD guide in my post. It may help you understand a bit of the process.

    I capture with an ati all in wonder to mpeg 2 48khz. audio.cut in tmpge,and author and burn with ulead dvd workshop.Never had a bad disk yet.

    I use the Xcapture card and Vegas 4 + DVD Architech, it works great.
