  1. I downloaded a movie from the net. It was an avi and I converted it to mpeg using tmpeg. When I play the movie now, the audio is about 10 secs ahead of the video. Audio and video were fine before i converted it. What is the easiest way to fix the prob?

open the avi in virual dub. if it says the audio is skewed then go to audio and check full processing mode. then audio again and check conversion then check 44100, 16 bit and stereo. then go to file and save wav. use this wav in tmpgenc as your audio source when you encode the file

  3. There's an even easier method. Go into TMPGEnc settings and click on advanced tab. Click on source range and move the audio gap correct up or down depending on your problem. I think putting it at 10000 or -10000 would solve your problem (I forget which way it is "-" is if the audio is before video I think.)
