I'm looking to buy a card to capture video from my satellite dish. I heard that the ATI all in wonder cards are pretty good. Anyone using one, and are you happy with the quality? Are there any differences as far as mpeg2 encoding between the 7500, 8500, 9000, and 9700?
Are there any other cards that would be better for under $200-$300?
Thanks...

As I recall, there is no difference in the capture hardware (it's all software, by the way). The differences are strictly the differences between the non-AIW versions. Same for TV out, it's all the same chipsets. There are probably differences between the latest 9800 and the first 7000, but it will be a subjective thing.
