  1. Hi,

    I have a xvid 'SIGNS' movie which I tried to convert to vcd ( 2 cd's )

The first cd is perfect the second has a audio synch problem

When I opened the xvid file into virtual dub it gave me the common VBR audio error ( see image ).. So I tried saving the audio to wav... And loaded it into tmpenc afterwards seperately, same problem..

    What else to try...

please dont post pirated movies onthe site, once you have the codec, and your environmental settings, movie direct show filter to the top priority, then it should work..i dont see hwy, i also use alot of these files...holla

If you get the VBR warning then don't use Vdub to extract the wav. I use Goldwave, just load your avi and save.

Also, did you scan and remove bad frames?

  5. I get the VBR warning yes..... I loaded it into goldwave, save it as wav and then set virtualdub as framerserver ( no audio ) . Loaded it into tmpgenc and also loaded the seperate wav file. Part one of the extracted vcd is fine, part two has major audio synchs... It starts somewhere in the middle of the movie... I can't get it right. And I also scanned for bad frames.. Virtualdub doesn't find any !

    regards
