ok im gonna try and explain this the best i can.
i have computer number 1 it my computer. it has the following:
Sony DRU500A, Althon Thunderbird 1Gig, 256megs of pc2100 DDR ram, ASUS a7a 266 motherboard, TNT2 Video card, Phillips pcs605 sound card, 40 gig 7200rpm western digital HDD,Plextor 40/12/40a cd-r/rw. thats pretty much it.

computer 2 has: sony dru500a, althon xp 2500, 512 megs of pc2700 ddr ram, asus a7n8x motherboard, geforce 4, soundblaster live, 80 gig 7200rpm harddrive with 8mb cache, plextor 40/12/40a cd-r/rw. and thats about it on this one.

heres the problem: whenever i rip a DVD, i tried Blade 2 today, compress it with dvd2one, and burn it to any kind of the 5 media types i have they all turn out blocky, choppy, and pretty much screwed up.

however when computer 2 rips blade 2, compresses it, and burns it, its perfect.

when computer 2 pushes the dvd2one'd version of the blade 2 it ripped to computer 1 and computer 1 burns it, it works great.

what im trying to figure out is why my computer (computer 1) screws up when it does all the work, but when computer 2 rips the dvd it and pushes it through the networks to computer 1 its all wonderful.

anyone else heard of or had this problem?

ive switched out every component in computer 1 except for the NIC card. Can anyone give me their system requirements so i can try to rule out my ram and processor.

thanks,
mrshade
