I would use this service if it was avalible to Windows users.

99 cents isn't to bad for a song.

  2. I'm a Windows user too and thus am still waiting.

But I had a question on the AAC format. I have Quicktime Pro 6 and I can encode to that as the audio portion of the Quicktime Mpeg 4 format. Is this what Apple is using for the itunes music service. What file extension do you get when you download the song- AAC or mp4. Also do you know what programs can deal with AAC. (I was amazed that Windows Media Player could play my AAC/mp4 encoded file, but that may be because I have so many codecs loaded on my computer.)

Go apple! this is great, personally I'm responsible for 4 of those. Its really a nice service. I can play them on my mac at home, or my mac at work, and when the PC version comes out (they claim hopefully by the end of the year) I can play them on my PC. That covers my 3 machines quite well.

Much better then the other services out there, I know cause I tried them.
