    Hi there,

    I'm very new to this site, browsed a couple of times as a guest, and figured that it's probably in my best interests to sign up, as everyone here seems real nice and it's full of some really interesting outlooks.
    on a personal level, I was just wondering if anyone could give me an answer to the above question, I've heard about this whole rival standards thing and I was wondering just what DVD standards are approved by the DVD forum. I know DVD RAM is one of them but what are the remaining few? Nothing seems to have a concise list of standards....not even dvdforum.org.
