I like the old tv serie, the incredible hulk...but this new movie doesn't look that good. The hulk is too ugly and too big.

I saw a trailer last night when I went to see X2 (which was fantastic).

they certainly knew their audience - trailers for Matrix:Reloaded, Hulk and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen....

I wasn't too jacked up to see the Hulk before, but I am now....

I never read the Hulk comics but I did read a few issues that Hulk appeared in, wasn't he supposed to be over 7' tall and about 1000lbs? Lou Ferrigno was/is a huge guy but even at his peak I think he topped out somewhere around 6'-5" and 315lbs, still kinda puny to play the Hulk. I don't remember Hulk ever being a beauty queen either. Guess you'll have to wait for the She-Hulk movie.

Hulk looks vagely like Shrek on steriods...LOL

IMO, they shouldnt try to do CG on things people can tell arent real, like people, animals or secenery. The technology isnt there yet and it will look cheesy in 2 years, where as the effects for something artificial, like T2 still look awesome 12 years later.

  7. The CGI looks a little 'off.' But that could just be because we're watching it on the PC. Sort of like "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" (dated but still good). Looks great on the big screen but crap like on TV.

The Hulk seems to have that standard CGI jerky/twitchy movement about him. But I'll still most likely go see it (or at least rent it )

  8. Thought the hulk looked a bit shite, but X-Men 2 was absolute quality!!!!

the hulk still looks fake on the big screen. i just saw the trailer during x2. looks the same as on tv.
    His name was MackemX

What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend?

  11. Yea I'm really looking forward to the Hulk, but he does look too 'big' and too 'cgi'. I'm still going to see it though.

  12. he looks george lucas/CGI-ish but you can tell they used alot of reference from Eric Bana's face. look at the part where the guy has him pinned to the ground and Banner says "you wont like me when i'm angry"

I'm a fan of the HULK - for a long time.

I always dreamed that Dr. Banner would find the cure and get well, and
re-unite w/ his wife. If memory serves me.. didn't his wife return later on,
in some carnation or something ??
I could have swarn that she did come back from the dead. Somebody pleaes
correct me on this. I'm interested.

I first heard about HULK from seeing a co-worker's (yes, i know) box
of HULK cerals (some promotion gimic)

That's How I learned of HULK comming to the big-screen he he..
