  1. I tried to create a VCD last night off a mpeg2 video file. Everything went fine however whe nI looked in the saved directory listing on my HD this is what I got:

    SAVED DIRECTORY:
    Folder--CDI (contained nothing)
    Folder--EXT ( contained Lot_X.VCD and PSD_X.VCD )
    Folder--MPEGAV (contained Music01.dat)
    Folder--SEGMENT ( contained Item0001.dat)
    Folder-- VCD ( Contained Entries.vcd , Info.vcd , Lot.vcd and psd.vcd)

All above mentioned files are relatively small except for Music01.dat which is 424KB. And I can not fine where my video was saved also I was wonderring what is normally files and format of a encode VCD directory.

    Thanks!!!!!!!!!

  2. That sounds correct for a VCD. Music01.dat is really the MPEG file which contains the video. item0001.dat must be the menu.

I have never created a VCD by creating a folder structure on hard disk then write it to CD-R.

I have done lot of DVD by saving the VIDEO_TS on HDD then burn that folder on DVD-R, don't know if you can do the same with VCD.

You can try to burn all that folder on a CD-R to see if it work. If not then
MAKE DISC again but tell neoDVD to make disk directly to CD-R.
