  1. Hi, i had Converted a DvdRip to Dvd Mpeg..
    The files was at the total of 4,5gb.
    But when i tried to burn it, it didn't fit on the discs..
    My discs says 4,7gb..
    Howcome ??

    When manufacturers of both hard drives & DVDs quote capacity they are in fact referring to a GB being 1000 MB. In reality its 1024 MB. So in your case 4.7 GB DVD capacity is in fact 4.7 x 1000 MB = 4700MB. 4700MB is in fact 4700/1024 = 4.58GB

    The fact that you couldn't burn it is also due to the fact that then authoring a DVD you will have around 100MB overhead. Leaving aroung 4.4GB ish for content.
