I usually watch movies on my tv using my tv out card linked to a scart socket on the T.V.My computer is in a different room.I have wires running from one room to another. So i thought i would put the movies on vhs and watch them on video. But i cant get a picture.I'm fairly new to all this so i'm a bit naive. I thought if i can get a picture on the tv,and i take the scart out of the tv, and put it into the vcr,and hit the record button.I would record the movie. But im not getting any picture or sound at all.I must be doing something wrong, but i dont know what. Can anyone give me some advice please.![]()

Make sure the audio/video hook ups are input to the vcr, and that the vcr is set to record line-in, not one of the channels 3/4 or somthing.
Don't knock on deaths door, ring the doorbell and run, death hates that!
